About Dorchester County Recreation and Parks

Dorchester County is home to an active and vibrant community. The Recreation and Parks Department maintains eight park sites encompassing nearly 200 acres of recreational space. These unique locations feature a public swimming pool, Athletic fields and courts, a walking / running trail, fishing, picnic areas, playscapes, and open spaces for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Numerous recreational programs are also available to engage a range of interests
